MM-Air pots (5 pieces) for pre-sowing tomatoes and other summer vegetables. Gives a better and faster result than other jars.
If you want to grow your own tomatoes, you should sow them indoors at the end of March. In these pots and on a mixture of pre-sowing vermiculite and Easy Vegetable Garden mix, that goes very well.
Much better than in regular pots with potting soil and even easier than in the closed trays with pre-sowing vermiculite.
In normal standard pots, roots continue to grow: in endless circles along the wall of the pot. Because of all that growth, they hardly get around to absorbing food.
The Airpots have openings on the side. As soon as a carrot comes close to it, it stops growing. You call that air pruning - or air pruning in Dutch.
As a result, the plant creates new roots and thus forms a strong root system with many young and healthy roots.
The result is that your plants grow faster and stronger. Moreover, you don't have to repot them as quickly and they are less bothered by transplanting to their final location: your vegetable garden box or an MM-mini.
